Severna Park Budo Arts and Little Budo Classes Continue in 2008

Budo classes are offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm in the gym. You may enroll at anytime during the year. A new "Mini Budo" class for younger students is also being offered.

MOMS Club of Severna Park Meets 3rd Thursday of the Month

The MOMS club will be meeting here at the Center on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 10:30am to noon.

The acronym MOMS stands for Moms Offering Moms Support -- provided through a variety of activities and providing a wonderful way to meet other at-home moms.

POWER PLAY -- A Total Mind/Body Workout for Girls ages 13-18!

Calling all teen girls between the ages of 13 and 18 to learn how to get fit in an unfit world. MaryAnn Neal will be leading this "Power Play" group of girls.

Cost is $150 for a six week session or $12.50 per session. Class meets in the Gym on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00-5:30 PM.

Registration for the 2008-09 After School Middle School Program Continues

Registration for the new school year for the After School Middle School (ASMS) Program serving students entering 6th, 7th and 8th grade is about to begin. Location is our Holy Grounds Youth Center.

Registration for the 2008-2009 school year will be held on Saturday, March 15, from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon in the Holy Grounds Youth Center.

Baltimore-Annapolis Kendo to Offer Kendo and Iaido Each Monday and Wednesday

Kendo (the art of Japanese fencing) and Iaido (a sword art focusing on mental awareness and the ability to react instantly) help to teach respect, honor, discipline and sincerity. The Baltimore-Annapolis Kendo Club will be offering Monday and Wednesday evening classes at The Holy Grounds Youth Center.

Iaido Classes - 6:45 - 7:45 pm
Kendo Classes - 8:00 - 9:30 pm

Cost is $10 per night or a discounted monthly fee of $45. Students must be 16 years of age or older. You may join at anytime.
